SINGAPORE: The
Singapore Exchange (SGX) has proposed the appointment of top lawyer
Davinder Singh and Mr Quah Wee Ghee as non-executive and independent
directors.
Mr Singh is currently the CEO of legal firm Drew & Napier.
He is currently also a director at Petra Foods, PSA International and Singapore Technologies Engineering.
Mr Quah has long experience in investment management and served as president of GIC Asset Management till June 2011.
He is currently advisor to the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation Executive Committee.
SGX shareholders will vote on the proposed appointments at the 12th Annual General Meeting on 6 October 2011.
